“Cruiser Bob” Kiger campaign-service-vacation schedule

  • July 18 - Meeting with City of Oceanside and a slew of San Diego county transportation and bureaucrats regards a GLOBIKE cycle-depot in or nearby the Oceanside. July 19 - 20 Showing GLOBIKE Kestral e-cycle outside Comic-con convention in San Diego. July 21 - Summer training for GLOBIKE electric-bicycle cruise across America. Continuing an outreach to all bicyclists, cyclists, wheelmen to “Cycle Cruisin’ California" with their cycles around Del Mar Racetrack. This is a convenient turnaround loop for those who enjoy riding up and down Pacific Coast Bike route in San Diego "We want to show the automobile world know they are not alone!"

  • July-August, 2011 Tent sale [hopefully at Oceanside Sunset Fair] every Thursday selling bicycles and videography gear to raise money for fall "Cruise across America" vacation and visit to New Hampshire to petition as a no-name, entrepreneur, disabled veteran, filing by petition on the New Hampshire ballot as an “indigent” [NH term for those who won't pony up $1000 in advance to be placed on the ballot]. I hope to prove that a poor man can have a voice in creating JOBS through innovative and creative ideas in the private sector and will file as a Democrat.

  • September, 2011 May sublet Airstream Hacienda in Mira Mar park to a trusted 55 or older tenant to pay the gas bills for support vehicle on "Cruise across America." Interviewing prospects now! Sublet period is September 1, 2011 until February 29, 2012 [Leap Year!].

  • September 7, 2011 Bob Kiger and co-rider-driver electrical-engineer depart for "Cruise across America" from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD with Kestral motorized by GLOBIKE brand DriveTrain and a soon to be released GLOBIKE Mustang complete electric-bicycle. Kiger and "co-rider" plan to ride 4-5 hours apiece each day taking turns driving VanGo support vehicle. They will produce a daily video blog [channel to be announced] Route is a variation on “Race across America” [RAAM] route with a northerly swing to visit InterBike show in Las Vegas.

  • Early October – Cruiser Bob goes north from Annapolis through D.C, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and than makes a B-line for New Hampshire to gather petitions for inclusion on the NH primary ballot as an “indigent” [New Hampshire term for someone who is poor enough and doesn't want to pony up $1000 and get automatically thrown into the FEC's purview.]

  • October-November Kiger stumps New Hampshire’s 10 counties with his ideas for creative private-sector government-bureaucracy solutions forJOBS in the USA. “Being a candidate gives me a louder megaphone to pose the questions that will have to be answered by citizens and candidates of both major parties.” “I think of it as my public service to promote awareness.” says Kiger who will produce his only campaign TV commercial and air it one time on New Hampshire’s premier TV station, than put it on Youtube.... besides, I always wanted to see the leaves turning in New England”.

  • Thanksgiving 2011 – March 1, 2012 Kiger plans to move south to warmer climes for a slow cruise back home to Oceanside.

While on the road Kiger manages GLOBIKE llc. and Videography Lab using daily video conferencing and all the usual channels. GLOBIKEoperations continue in Oceanside, CA and Maui, HI.

Cycle Cruisin' California !

"This is like a "Woodstock" moment if we make it happen. A moment of harmonic convergence of todays thinking about how we get around. We could not have asked the Almighty for a better theme for automobile-culture-show than "Cruisin' California". It had my name written all over it and I decided to pay it a visit and and hope every other cyclist in the world will join in the cruise. This Map will stand long after the "Fair" is over as a turnaround circuit for cyclists in Del-Mar. {Dark green routes indicated dedicated bicycle routes. Light green routes indicate streets with dedicated "bike lanes." Dashed routes indicate streets or paths otherwise recommended for bicycle usage.

The wheels are rolling to help folks cycle around the Del Mar ANY TIME!
